Sagittarius New Moon – Total Solar Eclipse – December 14, 2020
Today’s New Moon occurs at 23 degrees, 08 minutes Sagittarius at 8:16 am PST and at 4:16 pm GMT. There will be a total eclipse of the Sun in the Southern Hemisphere, Crossing the tip od South America and the countries od Argentina and Chile. It is possible that the Eclipse may be seen in southwest Africa as well as in portions of Antarctica, depending on weather conditions.
A Total Solar Eclipse is seldom something to sneeze at and this one is no exception. We are at the end of a long slog (not over yet) through a pandemic, politics, and precarious as well as propitious situations. Eclipse begin to show their stripes about 90 days prior to the actual eclipse itself. As we close in on the eclipse date it become more difficult to read the energy and to make predictions.
The Sabian symbol for this eclipse at 23 degrees Sadge is: “A group of immigrants as they fulfill the requirements of entrance into the new country. A New stage of experience in readiness for the opportunities it will present. It’s been a tough and pivotal year. The Gang of Three is breaking up. Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto will be going their separate ways very soon. On December 16, Saturn will enter 00 degrees Aquarius, saying goodbye to Capricorn for another 28 years. On the 18th, the Sun will conjunct the Galactic Center – always a luscious and beautiful alignment at 27 degrees. He will conjunct Mercury at 28 degrees Sagittarius on the 19th as Jupiter enters Aquarius at 00 degrees, joining his buddy Saturn and saying adios to Pluto and the whole Capricorn experience.
On December 21, Winter Solstice, Jupiter and Saturn are conjunct in Aquarius. The last Jupiter-Saturn conjunction that occurred in Aquarius was 615 years ago in 1405. Together they form a very bright light. They will be just 0.1 degree apart. This is called “The Great Conjunction” as Jupiter and Saturn are the two biggest planets and prior to the invention of telescopes, the two most distant planets that were discernable to the naked eye (and they still are). I highly suggest that you go out star-gazing starting tonight. Check it out. It’s always a treat unless it’s raining or cloudy. Next opportunity will be in 2040. Why wait? The pair will be positioned near to the young moon from December 16 – 25th. They will be bright and unmistakable.
Things are moving more quickly. That’s what we expect of Sagittarius – and as you can see, feel, touch, hear, smell and taste; Sadge is delivering. The Sabian symbol for this eclipse at 23 degrees Sadge is: “A group of immigrants as they fulfill the requirements of entrance into the new country. A New stage of experience in readiness for the opportunities it will present.” Make room for where you want to go next. Everything is faster now – especially time and timelines. The energy of this eclipse will bump us up and forward, giving us some perspective on the recent and far-distant past. We’ve all heard the caution “Don’t look back.” It’s good advice going forward. We must learn to separate things cleanly and clearly. We will be experiencing the phenomena of straddling dimensions and timelines while at the same time integrating them with precision and speed. Previous ways of thinking and doing are already dogeared and cumbersome. We will be moving faster and living in heightened states of consciousness, being, and creation. This is not specifically generational, gender-based, or ageist. It is dimensional. You are in charge of your destination, your path, your thinking, feeling, knowing, and execution.
As we cross the frontier into that new life experience, how will we feel? What will we do?
“It may seem an ordeal, but it is inevitable. Everything that we do will depend largely on how we cross this threshold, and on the spirit in which we meet unfamiliar and perhaps shocking experiences.” – Sabian Symbols, Dane Rudhyar
Live from the now. Let go of fear. The power grab here on planet Earth won’t last much longer. We’re running out of steam. We are creator beings. We are possessed of clear-seeing. We may have to fashion a bridge from the old to the new. But that’s okay. We know what to do.
Blessed Solstice and Joyous Hoildays to All !!!
