Gemini Full Moon – December 11 – 12, 2019

Gemimi Full Moon – December 11-12, 2019

Welcome to the last Full Moon of 2019. It’s the end of a decade. The Full Moon forms at 19 degrees, 17 minutes Gemini at 9:12 pm, PST on December 11th and at 5:12 am GMT on December 12th. We’re moving ahead into Eclipse season with a Solar Eclipse on December 26th (book-ending the Eclipse of July 2nd, 2019) and a Lunar Eclipse in Cancer on January 10, 2020, initiating a new cycle for the coming calendar year. The Gemini Full Moon is ready to go, ready to communicate, assimilate, travel, telecommute, intuit, and synthesize. Gemini loves to move independently, quickly, and lightly.

In classic Gemini/Sadge fashion, it’s time to examine the all the details and to paint the big picture. Simultaneously of course! This polarity would not have it any other way! It might be a bit confusing at first; but you’ll get the hang of it soon enough. We must acknowledge that we have reached a true cleavage of the decades. Things will not “move ahead at a steady pace” or “continue as planned” unless you are on intimate terms with the universe and privy to some information that’s not in general circulation. It’s best to make some choices now – and by now I mean quickly if you haven’t already done so. What deserves your attention? What is the best and highest use of your energies and intellect? What can no longer continue? What obstacles are in the way? What are you willing to give?

We’re in the last decan (10 degrees) of Sagittarius. The Sun enters Capricorn on December 22nd. There’s a good-sized stellium in Capricorn currently. Jupiter is at 2 degrees, Saturn is at 19, Venus is also at 19 and Pluto is at 21. It might more accurate to call it a gathering as Capricorn is not a particularly festive sign and its ruler, Saturn is not much of a party animal either. Saturn does, however, hold most of the cards at this Full Moon. The 10th House is his domain. Top of the chart – top of the heap – and don’t you forget it! But wait a minute, Pluto’s been there for awhile now and he’s made himself comfortable over the last 11 years. Sounds incredible – but indeed, Pluto has been in Capricorn since December 2008! Saturn joins Pluto in the 10th house. Not the other way around. And Pluto will not move out of Capricorn until 2024 -25 when he moves into Aquarius – with a retrograde back to Capricorn just for good measure. The rule is: the slower the planet, the deeper the imprint and the more profound the transformation. Saturn has a cycle of 29 years. Pluto’s cycle is 248 years.

It looks uncomfortable for Venus in Capricorn, sandwiched between Pluto and Saturn as she is. Last night She was in exact conjunction with Saturn and by tomorrow she will be exactly conjunct Pluto. It’s hard on Venus. This stellium can cause a heaviness and potential inaction but there is also a meticulousness and dedication to pursue one’s path – to double down and to follow through. Venus knows what’s valuable and what’s not. Jupiter, at 02 Capricorn is separated from Venus and unable to come to her rescue, but he is trine to Uranus at 03 Taurus, in the sign that Venus rules. This points in a positive direction. By this time tomorrow, Venus will be in Aquarius. The last time that Venus joined Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn was 1517. So, it’s good to know that she’s not subjected to that sort of trauma and drama on a regular schedule!
Tonight Neptune in Pisces trines Mars in Scorpio at 15 degrees of each sign. Each are in their own signs of rulership. Use this beneficial energy for all its worth. This configuration at the very center of these two signs will not come again in our lifetime. Neptune has a 168 year cycle to complete his trip around the Sun. There’s a Grand Trine in the water sign shaping up when the Full moon moves into Cancer over the weekend. She will be waning but will trine Mars in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces.

This opens the door for Eclipse season to begin in earnest. It’s time to journey to the Galactic center. Destiny calls. This is about faith and execution. It’s about making choices and taking chances. Have you ever heard the saying: “Nothing ventured. Nothing gained.”? Or “Nothing from Nothing leaves Nothing.”? Bingo – that’s it. This configuration will never come again in our lifetime. It’s a definite portal. Doorways can open and/or close with alarming speed. It will not be the most comfortable holiday season you’ve ever had. But if you’re willing to take a chance on yourself, your dreams, passions, and that deep, deep feeling that you’ve had forever and ever – you might just get to where you’ve dreamed of being all this time. Make choices, allow transformation, (no matter how uncomfortable). Timelines are converging. Expand into difficult choices. Get ready. Do it soon. We’ve all got to decide whatever it is we’re deciding. And we’ve got to do it VERY SOON.
